LolaDub Milo Ventimiglia Wanted to be a Fighter Pilot Apr 15, 2008 10:23 AM Before Milo Ventimiglia was playing the power-absorbing Peter Petrelli in Heroes or even acting for that matter, he had some other life aspirations. “I had a couple options,” Milo, 30, shared on Live with Regis and Kelly! “One, I wanted to be an actor. Two, I wanted to be a doctor. And third, I wanted to be a fighter pilot.” But even though Milo went on to become an actor, he still took to the skies: “During the strike, when Hollywood was shut down, [I went up in a fighter plane]. And I also spent some time with the Air Force Reserves. It was amazing. It was one of the coolest things I’d ever done to see what these pilots put themselves through, the training, what the planes are capable of.” When co-host Kelly Ripa asked if he felt nauseous up in the fighter plane, Milo laughed, “Yeah, I got sick. It’s hard not to. There’s actually a photograph of me before I got into the plane–hair’s polished, I’m looking good, I’m standing up tall. And then there’s one of me after I finished the flight and eh, a little crooked.” And good news! Milo had a little tidbit to share about Heroes: “We’re going into [filming] our third season starting May 1. Back with new episodes in September!” Hoorah!!! Watch Milo’s interview on Regis below. LolaDub Milo Ventimiglia Trying to Keep His Fans Happy Dec 18, 2007 5:42 AM While Heroes was shut out of the Golden Globe nominations last week, Milo Ventimiglia believes the show can shake off its sophomore slump – and he tells fans that in person whenever he can. "For the most part, people still walk up to you with smiles on their faces saying, 'I love it. I love it. I love it,' " the 30-year-old actor tells Entertainment Weekly. "Occasionally, you get somebody who kinda looks at you and thinks, 'Eh, first season was better, but I still watch you guys. You're doing pretty good.' " What does he tell those fans? "As a person that's on the show as well as a fan of the show ... I'm hoping we get back to the feeling of the first season," he says. Other fans recognize Ventimiglia from his earlier roles on Gilmore Girls and American Dreams. In fact, in a new animated video (part of a series Ventimiglia has produced for American Eagle Entertainment), a Claymation version of the actor is seen being hounded by a Gilmore Girls fan on an airplane – a scene apparently snipped from real life. "I get it all," Ventimiglia tells EW. "When people call me Chris Pierce from American Dreams, it definitely gets a big smile from me." As for the Golden Globes snub, Ventimiglia says that's just added motivation for the cast. "I think it's one of those things that's going to make us work harder, make us be a little more focused," he says. "I remember when we didn't win [last year], I turned to the table and raised my glass and said, 'It's a pleasure and a privilege to work with you guys.' LolaDub Milo Ventimiglia Has Game Dec 17, 2007 8:11 AM Milo Ventimiglia has been a bad boy! The 30-year-old actor has been playing the villainous roles in two films during the Heroes hiatus–one of them being Game, out 2009, costarring Scottish stud Gerard Butler. Here are some interview snippets from his sit-down with Entertainment Weekly: Are you just chillin’ now while the strike is on, or are you working on something new? I’m pretty busy. I’m doing two features before Christmas. One is called Game, and that’s with Gerard Butler and Amber Valletta. It’s written and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the same guys who did Pathology, the movie I have coming out in the spring. Who do you play in Game? A very interesting futuristic character that’s not necessarily in control of himself… And then I’m doing an independent film called Chaos Theory about a guy who leads a very organized life, and someone comes into that life and just sets a downward spiral in motion. And you play? I’m the bad guy. I’m not really a good guy in Game either…. Kind of two bad-guy roles for the holidays for me. :drool: source: justjared.com
